About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Import/Export Logistics Specialist to establish and manage our customs and logistics operations in Manaus. This role requires deep expertise in Brazilian customs regulations and electronics manufacturing supply chains.
Key Responsibilities
-Manage end-to-end import/export operations for electronics manufacturing facility
-Classify NCM codes for production equipment and finished products
-Handle SUFRAMA, DOCE, DCI declarations and customs documentation
-Optimize transportation costs, freight insurance, and logistics contracts
-Develop and implement import/export management processes
-Coordinate with headquarters in China and local Brazilian suppliers
-Ensure compliance with Manaus Free Trade Zone regulations
-Track logistics performance metrics and implement cost savings
Who You Are
-Based in Manaus preferred
-3+ years import/export experience in manufacturing
-Electronics industry background required
-Expertise in NCM code classification and Brazilian customs processes
-Experience with SUFRAMA, DOCE, DCI declarations
-Proficient in SAP system operations
-Bachelor's degree in International Trade or related field
-Able to communicate in English
-Experience building logistics networks in Manaus preferred
