Key Account Manager Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Key Account Manager, focusing on business-to-business (B2B) relationships within the travel industry.
Main Responsibilities:
* In charge of managing existing client relationships for API wholesale online, API retail offline, and web shopping accounts within assigned territories.
* Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets, foster account growth, and identify new business opportunities.
* Acquisition of new key accounts within designated territories.
* Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess their needs, address concerns, and provide solutions that meet their objectives.
* Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts to maximize revenue generation.
* Prepare and present reports on account performance, sales forecasts, and market insights.
* Collaborate with product development teams to provide feedback and insights from clients, contributing to the development of new products/services.
* Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to proactively identify potential threats and opportunities.
* Strong influencing and negotiation skills, thriving in the creation and maintenance of successful long-term commercial relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
* Experienced with proven ability to deliver results in an autonomous working environment.
* Solid experience and commercial knowledge of the travel & hospitality industries.
* Commercially good knowledge of business for B2B, as well as new business segments and models.
* Project management skills.
* Proficiency in English and Portuguese as working languages is required. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
* Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
* Knowledge of customer relationship management software.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
