The mission of Speechify is to make sure that reading is never a barrier to learning. Speechify’s text-to-speech products turn PDFs, books, Google Docs, news articles, and websites into audio so people can read faster, read more, and remember more. Our products include the iOS app, Android app, Mac app, Chrome Extension, and Web App.
Speechify is a 100% distributed company with about 200 people globally, working without a physical office. Team members come from top tech companies and academia, and we value thoughtful product decisions, delivering high-quality user experiences, and a fast-paced environment.
We are a flat organization where leadership can come from anyone who demonstrates excellent technical skills and consistent, fast results. Strong work ethic, clear communication, and a focus on winning are paramount.
Our interview process involves several technical interviews, and we aim to complete them within 1 week.

* Actively ship production code to the web products
* Work closely with your dedicated product team
* Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap

* Experience: you’ve built and shipped products that have scaled to thousands or millions of users
* Customer obsession: you are passionate about the field and build high-quality products that serve customer needs
* Speed: you work quickly to generate ideas and decide what can ship now versus what needs more time
* Focus: you can engage or focus as needed in a high-growth remote environment
* Collaboration: you can inspire, negotiate with, and work with opinionated designers, marketers, and PMs
* Tech Stack: Vanilla JS, ReactJS, Redux, Firebase, Typescript
