This position is responsible for implementing solutions for remote offices, data centers, and cloud environments. It also provides third-level support for support issues. The environment involves broadly defined policies and specific objectives, requiring analytical, interpretive, evaluative, and constructive thinking. The System Engineer will work with broad business and architectural goals, demonstrating intuition to find the best solutions. The role involves handling unique issues and challenges, focusing on primary objectives, analyzing arguments, and determining constructive solutions. Additionally, the position involves participating in network connectivity and cloud design projects as requested by the manager.
Your Impact:
* Develop and support enterprise-level technical infrastructure solutions.
* Assist in designing overall architecture for technical infrastructure.
* Participate as a team member and/or lead on assigned projects.
* Facilitate and support resolution of tier II and tier III tickets.
* Monitor and analyze data infrastructure with team support.
Your Experience and Qualifications:
* Working knowledge of Cisco Catalyst 4500, Cisco Routers 2900, 3900, 4000 Series, Cisco wireless APs and controllers, Cisco ISE, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto firewalls, and F5 load balancers.
* Scripting skills in Python or other languages are a plus.
* Solid networking experience (over 6 years).
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software design, MIS, engineering, or a related field.
* Cisco CCNA/CCNP or higher certification.
* Advanced English skills (communication and writing).
