Backend Software Engineer Position
We are seeking a seasoned Backend Software Engineer to join our team on an initial 12-month contract basis.
* You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our data processing pipeline and creating efficient processes that affect speed and cost efficiency.
* The successful candidate will ensure all steps in our data pipeline are integrated seamlessly and optimize the product for continuous scalability.
* Delivering ongoing process improvement is crucial, as well as collaborating with frontend engineers, CTO and principle software engineer to meet aggressive development timelines.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
* A minimum of 5 years relevant experience working in Backend Software Engineering.
* Experience using Typescript for Backend Development.
* Experience with other programming languages like Python, Java, C++.
* Business Proficiency in English is essential.
* Meticulous attention to detail.
* Proven ability to thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
* Startup mentality – understands the dedication it takes to thrive in a startup environment.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Business-level English required.
