Job Summary
In this role, the PLM Engineer III will serve as a technical expert in the areas of infrastructure related to manufacturing information systems. The engineer will identify methods and architect solutions to provide high-level service to end-users of applications.
The engineer will help build out, maintain, troubleshoot rapidly expanding application systems and their infrastructure. They work closely with other engineers, analysts leadership to obtain regular feedback on design execution.
Additionally, the engineer provides operational support maintenance of manufacturing systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for maintaining optimizing troubleshooting upgrades installation documentation of infrastructure related Product Lifecycle Management PLM systems which includes PLM database management project management systems CAD PDM systems.
• Administration new existing technologies including design documentation install configuration maintenance integration testing related systems.
• Leads collaboratively with business customers hardware middleware application requirements.
• Leads vendors engineers analysts leadership ensure integrity databases application software data.
• Performs regular system monitoring verifying integrity health availability all systems key processes reviewing application system logs ensuring completion scheduled jobs.
• Leads problem-solving efforts regarding system service matters if necessary facilitates support outside personnel organizations vendors.
• Monitor tech-industry trends brings new ideas innovative solutions.
• Develops new deliverables as needed based operational requirements following best practices documentation delivery.
• Analyzes data drive decision-making recommendations.
