Job Title: Amazon Catalog/ SEO & PDP Optimization Lead (Client-facing)

Our client is a fast-growing eCommerce and marketplace-focused US agency working with established brands to scale their performance on Amazon through data-driven strategies and continuous optimization.
Full-time: Start with 20 hours/week and then transition to full-time (40 hours/week) within ~2 weeks.
Role Summary:
We are seeking an Amazon SEO & PDP Optimization Lead to drive both organic discoverability and product detail page conversion performance across a portfolio of Amazon brands. This role combines backend SEO strategy, keyword optimization, catalog analysis, and PDP/content optimization into one client-facing position.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, experienced with Amazon Seller Central and Brand Analytics tools, and capable of diagnosing both search-level and conversion-level performance gaps. This person should be comfortable translating data into actionable recommendations that improve ranking, click-through rate, and conversion rate across Amazon listings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze Search Query Performance (SQP), Brand Analytics, and Business Reports to identify ranking, click-share, and conversion-share opportunities
* Perform keyword indexing audits, backend keyword optimization, and search term analysis
* Monitor emerging long-tail and conversational search trends related to Amazon’s evolving AI-driven discovery surfaces
* Optimize product detail pages (PDPs) including titles, bullet points, backend attributes, images, and A+ Content
* Conduct conversion gap analysis using Voice of the Customer, customer reviews, return reasons, and competitor comparisons
* Build ASIN-level optimization action plans tied to diagnosed root causes and measurable performance improvements
* Collaborate with creative and account management teams on image optimization, content updates, and listing improvements
* Track organic ranking performance and maintain reporting dashboards and optimization documentation
* Communicate findings, recommendations, and performance insights clearly to internal teams and clients
Qualifications
* 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Amazon SEO, PDP optimization, or catalog optimization for Amazon brands
* Strong knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, Brand Analytics, Search Query Performance (SQP), and Business Reports
* Experience with backend keyword optimization, indexing audits, flat files, and catalog troubleshooting
* Proven ability to improve organic ranking, click-through rate, and conversion performance on Amazon listings
* Experience optimizing titles, bullet points, A+ Content, images, and backend attributes
* Proficiency with Amazon tools such as Helium 10, DataDive, Cerebro, or equivalent platforms
* Strong analytical and Excel/Google Sheets skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and performance trends
* Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with client-facing experience preferred
* Agency experience or experience managing multiple Amazon brands/accounts is highly preferred
* Detail-oriented, organized, and highly proactive in identifying growth opportunities and operational issues
