The project focuses on accelerating their move to cloud environments by automating deployment and management of key resources in Azure and AWS. Key responsibilities:
* Develop Ansible playbooks for automating VMs, databases, and cloud infrastructure in Azure (and potentially AWS).
* Provision and manage Azure resources like VMs, NSGs, and VNets.
* Administer Ansible infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations with installation, configuration, and maintenance.
* Contribute to a large-scale cloud migration project, helping transition from on-prem to cloud.
* Collaborate on automation best practices and support DevOps initiatives.
Required skills:
* 5+ years of hands-on experience with Ansible playbook development, including provisioning in Azure and/or AWS.
* Strong understanding of Azure cloud services (VMs, NSGs, VNets) or equivalent AWS experience.
* Expertise in Ansible infrastructure administration and experience with PowerShell or PERL scripting.
* Solid Linux experience and knowledge of cloud automation in a multi-region context.
