Role Description
This is a long-term contract, remote Senior Python Engineer role for a healthcare client. You will be responsible for building and maintaining reporting and analytics systems that process large healthcare datasets. The position requires someone with deep expertise in Python and pandas who can design efficient data pipelines, create automated reporting solutions, and ensure data accuracy and compliance in a healthcare environment.
What we are looking for:
• Minimum 7 years of professional Python development experience
• Expert-level proficiency with pandas for data manipulation and analysis
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server)
• Proven experience building reporting and analytics systems
• Experience working with large, complex datasets
• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance requirements
• Healthcare industry experience is a strong plus
• Knowledge of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, ICD-10) is a bonus
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare data privacy is a plus
• Experience with data visualization tools (Matplotlib, Plotly, Tableau, Power BI) is beneficial •
Comfortable working remotely and communicating clearly in English
• Located in Brazil or Latin America
