Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth through strategic outreach and relationship-building.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in B2B software sales and a strong understanding of the rendering industry and related technologies. You will be responsible for conducting outbound prospecting activities using various channels, including phone calls, emails, and social media, to engage potential customers and generate sales opportunities.
In addition, you will be responsible for inbound lead generation by monitoring and analyzing website traffic, social media interactions, and other data sources to increase lead quantity and quality. This includes researching target markets, industries, and competitors to understand customer needs and pain points, enabling effective positioning and promotion of our products.
You will also be required to handle inquiries and requests from potential customers, coordinating with the sales team to ensure seamless lead conversion. Furthermore, you will need to follow up on sales processes with potential customers, providing necessary information and support to facilitate the sales team's success.
To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication and negotiation skills to establish rapport with potential customers and guide them through the sales process. Additionally, you will need strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to think independently and develop effective sales strategies.
A team player with the ability to collaborate closely with the sales team and other departments to achieve sales goals is essential. Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and maintain high efficiency are also required.
Preferred qualifications include previous experience in marketing, sales, or business development, with a focus on SDR or similar roles. Experience using CRM tools and marketing automation software is a plus.
