Plant Manager - Qualicaps Brazil
Main responsibilities
* Implement the Quality, HSE & financial policies from the Corporate functions by ensuring good coordination with all functions present in plant.
* Ensure compliance with regulations in terms of social law, labor law, health, safety, hygiene, environment, food safety and pharmaceutical requirements
* Manage operational activities to satisfy plant’s customers:
Carry out production plans while respecting quality, deadlines and quantities
* Implement manufacturing transformation in all domains allowing to improve mid term plant’s competitiveness.
* Ensure consolidation, prioritization of plant’s priorities and activities on the short and mid term horizon for all functions in the plant (including finance, HR, Quality and procurement)
* Ensure directly or by delegation the representation of the Company vis-à-vis the social partners and the local administrations.
Main activities
* Carry out the production plan of the operating unit or site by managing and optimizing the resources made available
* Analyse, propose and implement the necessary changes to optimize operating costs, quality, safety and environmental protection
* Manage crisis situations and conduct emergency operations when necessary
* Manage the Plant budget and adapt OPEX and CAPEX to maintain/improve plant competitiveness.
* Propose investments and structural and organizational changes likely to improve the performance of the site or the Business Unit and carry out the investment programs decided by the Board of Directors
* Know, respect and ensure compliance with the rules on safety, quality, food safety, hygiene, the environment and human resources management and be the guarantor of them.
* Manage and develop the teams in the scope of the plant.
* Track and communicate site or business unit KPIs. Translating Group objectives into local development indicators, actions and plans
* Escalate when conflict of priorities between functions within the plant.
