We're seeking a seasoned Platform Solutions Architect to spearhead interoperable software solutions for our clients. This role combines hands-on JavaScript development with client-facing consulting, requiring technical expertise and excellent communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in front-end or full-stack development, including modern JavaScript (ES6+). They should be proficient in JavaScript frameworks like React, as well as TypeScript or other programming languages. Additionally, they should have experience with asynchronous programming, Node.js, and version control systems like Git.
In this role, you'll lead and coach clients to deliver complex front-end applications, such as dashboards and interactive platforms, for professional users. You'll collaborate with clients' teams to assess needs, develop prototypes, and advise on technical strategy, architecture, and implementation of interoperable systems.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Developing and prototyping JavaScript/interop-based solutions, including proof-of-concepts, to address client use cases and workflows.
* Advising clients on technical strategy, architecture, and implementation of interoperable systems using modern web frameworks.
* Collaborating with clients' teams to assess needs, lead projects, coach developers, and ultimately align businesses with IT.
* Liaising with internal teams (Product Engineering, Sales, Support, Client Success) to ensure project success.
* Demonstrating proven ability to deliver projects under pressure in collaboration with client IT organizations.
A strong background in capital markets, institutional trading, or financial services technology is considered a plus. You should be willing to work during U.S. Eastern Time (ET) business hours and occasionally travel to the US.
To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent verbal and written English fluency, as well as strong client-facing experience. Your profile should include established skills in discovery, design thinking, or business analysis, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
