Gene Therapy Sales Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Gene Therapy Sales Specialist to partner with our esteemed client, promoting their cutting-edge services in the biotechnology industry. This exciting field-based role involves building strong relationships with key stakeholders, fostering growth and expansion in the Brazilian market.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of gene therapy manufacturing services, regulatory requirements, and value drivers in this specialized space. With 2-4 years of proven sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, or medical devices, you will be able to communicate complex technical information effectively to both scientific and commercial audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Visit hospitals, clinics, and biotech/pharmaceutical companies to promote the CDMO's capabilities.
 * Build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, research institutions, procurement teams, and decision-makers in the gene therapy and advanced biologics space.
 * Execute sales plans, develop territory strategies, and meet revenue targets, proposals, and contract wins.
 * Communicate technical service offerings, differentiators, turnaround times, quality standards, and compliance credentials to prospective clients.
 * Collaborate with Business Development, Technical/Process Development, Regulatory, and Quality teams to ensure proposals, quotations, and customer expectations are aligned with service and regulatory capabilities.
 * Monitor the competitive landscape, market trends, client needs, and customer feedback; feed insights back into marketing/sales strategy.
 * Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, visit reports, and territory performance metrics.
Candidate Requirements:
 * Bachelor's degree or higher in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotech, or related field.
 * 2-4 years of proven sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, biotech, or medical devices; experience in CDMO or advanced therapy services is a strong plus.
 * Solid understanding of biologics / gene therapy manufacturing services, GMP, regulatory / quality requirements, and value drivers in this specialized space.
 * Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills; ability to explain technical services to scientific and commercial audiences.
 * Portuguese fluency required; English proficiency strongly preferred; ability to travel within assigned territory frequently.
 * Legal authorization to work in Brazil.
