About the Role
You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and community experience for The Developer Collective. Your role is to ensure members have a seamless experience from onboarding to ongoing engagement, while keeping internal systems organized and running efficiently.
This role is the backbone of the community. You will manage communications, coordinate events, maintain content consistency, and ensure all operational processes are documented and scalable.
Responsibilities
Community Management
• Onboard new members and ensure a smooth welcome experience
• Manage member communications via email and Slack
• Respond to support requests and handle follow-ups
• Moderate and grow Facebook Group and WhatsApp community
• Maintain high engagement and ensure community stays on-brand
Content & Social Media
• Design graphics and social media content using Canva
• Schedule and publish content across platforms
• Maintain consistency in brand voice and messaging
Operations & Coordination
• Handle invoicing and payment tracking via Stripe
• Coordinate events, including scheduling, logistics, and calendar management
• Maintain and organize internal workflows and processes
• Build and update SOPs in Notion for scalability
Requirements
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Self-starter with ability to work independently without constant supervision
• Experience with Monday.com, Notion, Slack, Trello, and Stripe
• Proficient in Canva for content creation
• Strong communication skills with a warm and professional tone
• Proven experience managing online communities (Facebook Groups or similar)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and workflows simultaneously
• Comfortable handling member support and communication
• Available during U.S. Eastern business hours
