**What does a Project Manager at ORTEC do?**
As a Project Manager in Supply Chain Optimization Projects, you play a crucial part in successful software implementations of our truck routing solutions. You will manage software implementation projects in large organizations, sometimes multiple at the same time.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
- You monitor project progress and deliverables and lead (steerco and project) meetings
- You manage the financial performance of the project(s) you are responsible for and deliver high-quality forecasts for the coming period
- You create SOWs and CRs according to corporate standards and lead the process to get them approved
- You are responsible for the resource management on your projects and you make sure you have the right people with the right skillsets on your project(s)
- You are responsible for account management of your customers, regularly connecting with them and leading up-sell and cross-sell opportunities
You will work from your home office or our office in Rio. Travel needs depend on the project; customer visits are common.

You have an educational and professional background that includes a (Bachelor’s / Master’s) degree in a field related to:
- Industrial Engineering
- (Applied) Mathematics
- Business/Management Information systems
- Operations Research
- Information Technology
- Computer Science
**Requirements**:
- 4-8 years of relevant work experience
- Certification such as PMP, ITIL, Scrum, Prince2
- Extensive experience with leading large software implementation projects in Supply Chain
**Required skills**:
- You have great interpersonal skills and can deal with people from end-user up to executive level and you are good at building long-term professional relationships
- You like and are good at leading an organization through a change
- You are a great leader for your project team
- You can maintain a great connection with corporate structures such as product management, global support, and software development
- You manage pro-actively and escalate in time when needed
- You have familiarity with business development and/or account management
- Professional and representative
- Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Team player and can work with people from different backgrounds i.e., country, culture, and education in an international environment
