Sofia Health, an online marketplace that connects clients with health and wellness services, is seeking a skilled Podcast Audio Editor.
The role involves editing podcast audio files, enhancing sound quality, implementing sound design, adding music, and ensuring overall quality control for each episode.
Key responsibilities include:
* Edit raw podcast audio into polished, broadcast-ready episodes
* Remove filler words, false starts, redundancies, and off-topic tangents
* Improve pacing, clarity, and flow without changing the speaker's voice or intent
* Restructure sections when needed based on how questions were answered
* Insert intro/outro, sponsor reads, disclaimers, or updates when required
We are looking for someone with:
* Proven experience editing long-form podcasts (interview or narrative style)
* Strong editorial judgment — you know what to cut and why
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
* Comfortable working with physician and expert-level conversations
