Sea Women Expeditions (SWX) will assemble a team of 25 extraordinary explorers to travel to the Bottom of the World.In partnership with Blue Green Expeditions, SWX will provide a platform for Indigenous and non-Indigenous women and non-binary, two-spirit, and gender-diverse explorers to develop leadership skills and gain ocean research experience in one of the harshest climates on Earth.Join SWX’s leadership and arts programs and our ocean research and dive & snorkel expedition to the Southern Ocean and the Weddell Sea aboard Oceanwide Expeditions’ M/V Hondius, the world’s first-registered Polar Class 6 vessel built for expedition cruising.During this 21st-century polar expedition, we’ll bring together a world-class lineup of international experts across the STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) fields. We’ll conduct pioneering ocean research, immersing ourselves in polar waters and participating in a unique leadership program that merges the arts and sciences.
