Intern, Data Engineer
ADVANTAGES OF TAKING THIS INTERNSHIP
Gain hands‑on experience in building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ELT processes.
Learn best practices in data modeling, warehousing, and architecture for enterprise‑level solutions.
Build problem‑solving and analytical skills by troubleshooting complex data issues in real‑world scenarios.
Understand the end‑to‑end data lifecycle, from ingestion to analytics and machine‑learning integration.
INTERN’S ROLE
Design, develop, implement and support robust ELT data pipeline solutions.
Coordinate activities with multiple development teams to achieve delivery objectives.
Provide support in requirements definitions, estimations, development and delivery of robust and scalable solutions.
Develop and support data models optimized for business intelligence usage.
Execute data quality controls.
Build integrations with APIs from external providers such as Google, Facebook, Salesforce, SAP and others.
Write technical documentation to ensure future maintainability of the code.
Adhere to industry standards and laws such as GDPR and SOX.
Be an ambassador in best‑practice definition and creative thinking.
PROFILE REQUIRED
Experience with the following technologies is an advantage:
Snowflake
DBT
Microsoft SQL Server
Power BI
Git
Fluent in programming languages such as SQL and Python is an advantage.
Experience in using cloud BI technologies such as Azure or similar is an advantage.
Experience translating business requirements into advanced data models for analysts and data scientists is an advantage.
Experience working within an agile team is an advantage.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PPT or equivalents.
Self‑motivated and able to work independently.
Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks while still meeting deadlines.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with a strong ability to connect the dots.
Detail‑oriented, passionate about quality and enthusiastic about new technology.
Fluent English, spoken and written. French preferred.
