About This Role
MAIN TASKS:
1. Create financial statements, reporting and any related variance analysis.
2. Partner with Finance leadership to ensure financial reports comply with IFRS.
3. Review monthly, quarterly and annual financial information including execution of the overall financial close process.
4. Complete internal and external audit activities to meet deadlines.
5. Analyze financial data and maintain financial models to accurately project financial results.
6. Ensure all stakeholders receive timely, accurate updates at least monthly to assess performance and proactively steer decisions.
7. Drive process improvement and proactively identify cost reduction opportunities.
8. Collaborate with business partners to ensure forecasts and analysis are relevant and any gaps to financial targets are identified
9. Challenge business partners on revenue and cost trends when financial drivers indicate areas of opportunity or potential risks
10. Perform ad hoc projects or analysis to enhance financial performance and better understand business drivers
11. Manage the external service providers to delivery accurate and timely information
12. Any other tasks or duties as agreed with Finance Manager
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
13. University degree in accounting, finance or related field required
14. CPA license preferred
15. MBA or graduate degree preferred
16. Advanced Spanish is required and English preferred
17. Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, finance or related field required.
18. Experience creating and overseeing financial statements, reports and models
19. Experienced in tax matters preferred
20. Knowledge of accounting principles, public company financial reporting & practices is preferred
21. Excellent analytical skills, conceptual thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
22. Able to thrive in an often fast paced and deadline-oriented business requiring development and refinement of processes and procedures
23. Advance knowledge of Microsoft Applications required (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access)
24. Knowledge and experience in Oracle preferred
