Product Design Lead
At Uitify, we are seeking a seasoned Product Designer to spearhead our product design efforts. As a Product Design Lead, you will be responsible for crafting intuitive and scalable digital experiences that meet the needs of fast-growing startups in the cybersecurity and SaaS sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop comprehensive product designs that prioritize user-centered solutions, usability, and scalability.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Engineering, to define product requirements and translate them into compelling design solutions.
* Design interfaces for complex tools and products, ensuring seamless user experiences and efficient navigation.
* Conduct thorough research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations to validate design decisions and optimize user experience.
* Align design goals with business objectives, technical constraints, and customer needs through effective stakeholder collaboration.
* Maintain and develop design systems and UI libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency across the product suite.
* Stay updated on industry trends, user behavior patterns, and best practices in product design.
Requirements:
* Full professional proficiency in English (verbal and written), with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale and collaborate with international teams.
* Strong portfolio showcasing complex product design work for enterprise software, especially in security, data visualization, or technical tools.
* Deep expertise with design tools like Figma, FigJam, and prototyping tools such as Framer or Principle.
* Solid understanding of user flows, interaction design, information architecture, and visual hierarchy for B2B software.
* Experience working in agile development environments, with strong collaboration skills alongside Product Managers and Engineers.
* Familiarity with design systems, accessibility standards (WCAG), and responsive design principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 7+ years of experience as a Product Designer.
* DIRECT EXPERIENCE DESIGNING FOR CYBERSECURITY PLATFORMS (e.g., threat detection tools, security dashboards, monitoring platforms, etc.).
* BACKGROUND IN DESIGNING DATA-HEAVY INTERFACES, WITH COMPLEX USER JOURNEYS AND ROLE-BASED USER PERMISSIONS.
* KNOWLEDGE OF FRONTEND DEVELOPMENT PRINCIPLES (HTML, CSS) TO EFFECTIVELY COMMUNICATE WITH DEVELOPERS.
* Prior experience working with US-based startups or product teams.
* EXPERIENCE FACILITATING DESIGN WORKSHOPS, USER INTERVIEWS, OR STAKEHOLDER ALIGNMENT SESSIONS.
