Delivery Excellence Specialist
We are seeking a seasoned Delivery Excellence Specialist to drive delivery execution across intricate, multi-functional initiatives in an agile engineering environment. This key role serves as the linchpin between business, product, and engineering – interpreting priorities into actionable steps, fostering clarity, and ensuring work is delivered with quality and consistency.
This is a hands-on, client-facing position for an individual who thrives on taking ownership, navigating ambiguity, and keeping teams aligned and motivated.
1. Oversee end-to-end delivery of complex initiatives, from planning through execution and completion.
2. Create and manage delivery plans, encompassing scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and resource coordination.
3. Partner closely with engineering teams to manage work intake, backlog grooming, prioritization, and task tracking.
4. Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear updates and driving alignment across teams.
5. Identify and mitigate risks, resolve blockers, and adjust plans as priorities evolve.
6. Facilitate working sessions, stand-ups, planning meetings, and stakeholder workshops as needed.
7. Support prioritization decisions by providing delivery insights, trade-offs, and impact analysis.
8. Continuously improve delivery processes, tools, and ways of working to increase efficiency and predictability.
9. Track and report on delivery progress using appropriate metrics and tools.
Requirements and Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience leading delivery for complex projects or initiatives.
* Strong experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or similar).
