Job Description
1. Ensure banquet rooms, restaurants, and coffee breaks are ready for service.
2. Ensure proper materials are displayed on every table. Inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver prior to use.
3. Set tables according to the type of event and service standards.
4. Address guests' service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner.
5. Welcome and acknowledge each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guest's name when possible.
6. Perform duties according to the practices and operational standards identified by the Food and Beverage Manager.
7. Ensure that services in all restaurants are performed, implemented, and monitored in line with budget discipline and standards.
8. Coordinate the restaurants and its personnel.
9. Ensure the necessary organization to achieve the highest service quality.
10. Identify and ensure repair of technical breakdowns.
11. Carry out and monitor daily restaurant preparations.
12. Ensure preparations are made before service for special occasions and monitor these preparations.
13. Maintain department equipment.
14. Control employees’ adherence to work schedules, dress code, and hygiene rules.
15. Request daily materials from storage.
16. Organize the process of greeting customers, seating them, and seeing them out.
17. Train employees in the department and set an example.
18. Report to the Restaurant Supervisor and Headwaiter.
19. Forward Food and Beverage Manager’s orders to restaurant staff.
20. Ensure communication with other departments and senior management.
21. Implement environmental responsibility activities, including waste reduction, energy saving, and environmental protection measures.
22. Carry out responsibilities related to quality management and food safety systems.
23. Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
* Education: At least a high school or vocational diploma.
* Experience: Minimum 5 years in the industry.
* Languages: Intermediate English and/or Arabic skills for communication and technical understanding.
* Training: Vocational trainings and seminars.
* Computer Literacy: Not required.
* Skills: Knowledge of products and services, ability to coordinate operations.
