OSS Clinician at the Excellence Community Education Welfare Scheme (ECEWS) – 2 OpeningsThe Excellence Community Education Welfare Scheme (ECEWS) is seeking an OSS Clinician to provide technical leadership and support related to clinical management of HIV/AIDS strategies and approaches in implementation of the programs.The successful candidate will work with relevant stakeholders to coordinate the design and implementation of facility-based programs in relation to clinical management of HIV/AIDS, including the use of Anti-retroviral treatment, PMTCT, care and support. They will also provide technical assistance in non-ART clinical care, including the management of opportunistic infections (OI) and Palliative care capacity for PLHIV.Provide general care to Key Populations (KP) clients.Develop and/or review Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the provision of ART services to Key Populations.Provide ART services to Key Populations in line with current World Health Organization (WHO) recommendations and national guidelines.Oversee clinical HIV treatment protocols in each clinical department to reflect the needs of the target population.Ensure a seamless delivery of service for clients from intake through discharge.The ideal candidate will have an Advanced Medical Degree (MD preferred), at least 3 years of clinical experience in management of infectious disease, and robust clinical experience in HIV/AIDS care and antiretroviral treatment.Minimum requirements include:Advanced Medical Degree (MD preferred)At least 3 years of clinical experience in management of infectious diseaseRobust clinical experience in HIV/AIDS care and antiretroviral treatmentComputer literacy in Microsoft applications and other softwareExcellent grasp of clinical issues and current literature in HIV/AIDS treatmentWe offer a competitive salary and a dynamic work environment.
