Procurement Manager – Wind

To support the expanding wind project pipeline in Brazil, we are urgently seeking a Procurement Manager. This position plays a pivotal role in securing and managing high-value contracts related to logistics, port operations, and key suppliers essential for wind turbine imports and project execution.
Responsibilities
* Lead procurement activities for wind projects in Brazil, ensuring timely and cost-effective supplier engagement.
* Manage full-cycle procurement responsibilities, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and vendor performance management.
* Oversee procurement for a broad range of categories including logistics, ports, cranes, transportation, temporary manpower, design companies, and other project-related services.
* Engage and negotiate with crane, logistics, transport, and port-service providers to support the importation of wind turbines.
* Develop and manage high-value PTCI (Port, Transport, Crane, Installation) contracts, ensuring supplier capability and compliance.
* Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders in Project Management, Operations, and Commercial teams to align procurement strategies with project requirements.
* Ensure procurement activities adhere to internal governance standards and project deadlines.
* Support the setup of procurement structure and processes as the organisation continues to expand.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in industrial, renewable energy, or infrastructure sectors.
* Strong experience in PTCI (Port, Transport, Crane, Installation) procurement is essential.
* Prior experience in wind project procurement is highly preferred.
* Proven ability to negotiate and manage high-value contracts with logistics, port, transport, and crane suppliers.
* Strong stakeholder management and ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving project environment.
* Professional fluency in English
* Ability to manage multiple procurement categories, including technical services and manpower.
* Strong ethical standards, commercial acumen, and collaborative working style.
