Strategic Business Developer
The role of the Strategic Business Developer is to build strong relationships that lead to identifying and securing business opportunities for Perseus.
Perseus operates as an Operating Group of Constellation Software Inc., a Canadian-based publicly held company.
The services provided by the Strategic Business Developer include:
* Developing and managing a pipeline of business opportunities through Salesforce CRM and creating market maps to build strong relationships in assigned software industry verticals.
* Meeting and exceeding monthly targets, such as meaningful contacts and other measurable business sourcing KPIs.
* Working autonomously and collaboratively with M&A leadership to qualify business opportunities efficiently.
* Ensuring the lead database is allocated accurately within portfolio verticals.
* Effectively qualifying opportunities at the top-end of the acquisition funnel to maintain focus for Portfolio Managers.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also have experience with salesforce.com and be familiar with the software industry.
