Reporting into the Head of Presales and Architecture, the Banking Business Enterprise Architect has extensive experience in solution architecting, design, and analysis as part of solution sales engagements relating to enterprise business applications for the Banking & Financial Services Industry and is adept in technical selling.
Description - What You’ll Do
Demonstrate thought leadership regarding Banking Enterprise and Business Architectures.
Engage in value selling and insight engagements to help banking customers understand the benefits and value of Oracle’s Banking solutions.
Develop a deep understanding of Oracle’s Banking Application offerings and technologies.
Show Subject Matter Expertise on Digital Banking and Open Banking Capabilities and their impact on traditional banking architectures.
Collaborate across lines of business within Oracle to champion X-LOB engagement and solution design.
Drive demo excellence on digital, technical, and extensibility capabilities of Oracle’s banking solutions.
Possess a good understanding of cloud technologies and lead discussions on Oracle’s solutions moving to the cloud.
Articulate business features, benefits, and value propositions effectively to solve enterprise banking problems.
Manage pre-sales processes, large bids, and application solutioning, including RFP/RFI processes and proposal development.
Engage effectively with senior IT architects of banks and financial institutions to differentiate Oracle’s offerings.
Conduct presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept orchestrations.
Required Skills/Experience - What You’ll Bring
Minimum 15 years of experience as a Banking Business/Enterprise Architect, ideally MBA qualified, with solid technical skills.
Recognized as an architecture authority externally, with reputable publications or leadership in industry forums.
Strong executive presence and superior communication skills to manage architecture complexity.
Experience working with deep domain and industry experts in Financial Services.
Extensive knowledge in designing architectures for Financial Services domains (Cloud, Big Data, Customer Experience, etc.).
At least 5 years of experience as a pre-sales consultant or in delivery within financial services.
Ability to craft whitepapers for business and IT audiences.
Other Skills
Excellent presentation and communication skills for engaging with CIOs/CTOs and management levels.
Sales acumen for consultative selling.
Technological appreciation and customer needs alignment.
Willingness to travel.
Responsibilities
Lead presales activities, develop technical/functional support, mentor team members, and handle complex sales opportunities. Develop and deliver presentations and demonstrations, and advise on architectural solutions.
