Job Summary
* The Finance Process Architecture (FPA) team acts as the liaison between business owners and system development teams. FPA translates business needs into design requirements for processes, tools, and applications.
* Accenture’s growth necessitates ongoing enhancements to finance processes, supporting tools, and applications, including our customized SAP solutions.
* This role provides expertise in designing, developing, maintaining, and improving Tax processes across SAP and Non-SAP systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage with stakeholders to design and implement enhancements and new technology projects aligned with Accenture and Tax Leadership priorities. Collaborate with CIO program, project leads, and Tax experts.
* Support project management using Finance Process Excellence and Agile methodologies throughout all project phases: Planning, Analysis, Design, Build, Test, Deploy, Stabilize. Responsibilities include documentation, design, testing, deployment, and change management.
* Develop expertise in Tax processes, sharing insights and best practices with business owners.
* Perform daily operations, including:
* Maintaining Tax systems such as SAP transfer pricing, intercompany billing, tax reporting, and other non-SAP applications.
* Supporting the Financial Month-End Close, including:
* Completing deliverables and validations for intercompany billing and SAP master data.
* Assessing impacts and proposing solutions with minimal risk.
* Representing Tax Management in cross-process discussions to resolve incidents affecting financial data.
* Producing detailed analyses and reports.
* Understanding system and process data flows to meet business needs.
* Assisting with security design for Tax roles.
* Supporting internal controls and report validations.
Relationships
* Reports to: Tax Management Finance Process Architecture – Associate Manager (Buenos Aires).
* External Relationships: Collaborates closely with FPA from other Process Areas (RTR, OTC, CO, RTP), SAP Program and Project Leads, Global Tax Group, Finance, CIO, and local stakeholders such as Tax Leads and Country Controllers.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
* At least 5 years of Accounting and/or Finance experience.
* Location: Buenos Aires.
* Work Requirements: Occasional overtime, collaboration across time zones, availability during financial close, SAP release weekends, and for incident resolution, including some overtime.
Professional Development Skills
* Experience in business process design and improvement, advocating simplification, standardization, and process enhancements.
* Proficiency in SAP Finance and Microsoft Office tools (Power BI, Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint).
* Knowledge of Intercompany and Tax processes is advantageous but not required; capability to learn and apply related business practices is essential.
* Independent, proactive, and analytical thinker with problem-solving skills.

* Strong communication skills in English, effective with diverse audiences.
* Flexible, resilient, and positive attitude in dynamic environments.
