About the Role
We're seeking skilled Language Developers to partner with leading technology companies in building generative AI and large language models (LLMs). The successful candidate will have native-level fluency in Portuguese, enabling them to contribute to shaping how AI understands and uses language.
This is an exceptional opportunity for writers, editors, linguists to be part of AI innovation. They'll play a key role in teaching LLMs to think, reason, communicate with greater fluency and human-like nuance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing high-quality training data sets for AI models to improve accuracy, coherence, and voice
* Annotating data to align AI models with human values
* Analyzing and improving grammar, syntax, and sentence structure of expert-generated training data and AI model-generated text
* Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, researchers, and software engineers to refine and iterate data sets
* Contributing to evolving specifications for AI-model training and data recipes
* Navigating a dynamic environment, adapting shifting guidelines, and flexible priorities
Requirements:
* Native-level fluency in Portuguese and strong proficiency in English
* Excellent writing, editing, and linguistic analysis skills
* Deep understanding of grammar, syntax, and stylistic subtleties
* Research skills and ability to fact-check effectively
* Ability to work independently and meet daily deadlines
