This is a remote position working East Coast hours, CLT hiring model. We are looking for an experienced Application Support Specialist to provide technical direction and guidance for complex application needs.
The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, proven ability to work with Global Teams, and a growth mindset. They will be responsible for liaising between IT and business stakeholders, supporting the most complex application needs, and developing strategic stakeholder relationships within the business units.
Main Responsibilities:
* Participate in architectural discussions and evaluate proposed solutions
* Support and implement solutions across the organization
* Perform technical analysis and prepare recommendations
* Liaise across functional areas, including business units, IT department, and outside vendors
* Collaborate with operations teams to ensure solution compatibility with company standards
* Oversee key operational controls to ensure ongoing operating effectiveness
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience required
* 5+ years of related Production support experience required
* Programming/Scripting Skills in Java, Python, C++, Django etc (any scripting or coding language and ability to learn)
* Experience in various App/Networking Monitoring Tools (Splunk, Appdynamics, Prometheus etc)

This role requires a self-starter and self-motivated individual who can prioritize tasks accordingly. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, troubleshooting skills, and incident management skills. They will be comfortable talking to development, production, and infrastructure teams.
