Seeking an accomplished Embedded Software Engineer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge control application software in a Linux-based embedded environment.
As part of our team, you will collaborate with an esteemed Automotive Original Equipment Manufacturer to deliver high-quality products and services. Your expertise in C programming, embedded system architectures, and microcontrollers will be instrumental in driving project success.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing technical guidance and coaching to the team
* Developing software design that aligns with corporate guidelines and specifications
* Maintaining documentation and ensuring high-quality design through testing and verification
* Engaging in technical discussions with stakeholders and customers
In order to excel in this role, you will require:
* 7+ years of experience in automotive or similar industry working on embedded software development
* Advanced experience in Embedded Linux Controller Application development with Embedded C
* Intermediate to Advance experience working under ROS2 systems (Linux Jazzy/humble)
* Basic to Intermediate Experience with Communication Protocols (J1939,CAN, CAN2B, CANFD)
* Knowledge/ basic experience with MQTT, ETH
* Experience with Configuration and Change Management tools (e.g. Git, GitHub)
Prioritizing result-oriented, customer-centric approach, strong problem-solving skills, and intercultural orientation will be key factors for success. Proficiency in English language (C1 level) and ability to travel to the US is also required.
Bonus points for those with knowledge/ basic experience with other programming languages (Python/C++), experience with Behavioral tree design, Gazebo, safety related processes (ISO26262), security related processes (ISO21434), requirements engineering, Quality assurance, Software release procedures and capability models (e.g. ASPICE, CMMI), and experience Working with diagnostics (UDS ISO 14229, SAEJ1939).
