Your role and responsibilities Responsible for coding, correcting bugs, proposing and implementing proactive solutions to improve the reliability of IBMi systems and environments as well as our customers' application chains. Works with administration teams to enable a continuous integration environment that sustains high productivity levels and emphasizes defect prevention techniques. Required technical and professional expertise * Experience in a production department (IT or other) * Have worked in collaborative mode (Agile, Design Thinking ) * Administration of IBM i systems(PTFs, System Upgrades, Migrations and troubleshooting) * Supervision and logging knowledge * BRMS and safeguards. * Experience with MIMIX/PowerHA. * Experience of system architectures (high availability HW or SW) * Devops practices and tools (ex. Ansible, Instana) * Basic knowledge of system and network security principles (TCP-IP, VPN, etc.) Preferred technical and professional experience * Hands-on relevant experience Infrastructure/System Programmer * Ability to work in a fast passed, dynamic environment * Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills desired * Knowledge of IBM i virtualized environments * Experience with RPG, RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE, DB2, PHP and Python.
