Overview of the role
The Accounting Analyst position serves as the key internal contact for the company's financial information, with full visibility of transactions and responsibility for the source data used in decision-making. This role involves participating in regular monthly closing cycles and contributing to the development of the accounting work frame. You'll understand the financial data management model and use appropriate data retrieval tools to prepare and process accounting information in a highly versatile team that constantly adapts to changing business needs.
Key responsibilities
- Reconciling accounts.
- Verifying cost center allocation and other inputs of accounting transactions.
- Compiling financial statements.
- Registering accruals and applying corrections in the accounting system.
- Generating reports and supporting decision-making processes.
Requirements
- Accounting Experience: Experience in accounting, accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounts receivable.
- Excel Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and Vlookup.
- ERP Systems: Experience with ERP management systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or NetSuite.
- Language Proficiency: Advanced level of English.
