Transport & Logistics Expert – Business and Investment Climate Reforms
NTU International is preparing a proposal for the GIZ Global Gateway Investment Climate Reform (ICR) Facility, which supports partner countries in improving business environments and unlocking sustainable private investment.
The Facility delivers demand-driven technical assistance to governments and stakeholders to design and implement investment climate reforms and promote inclusive economic growth.
We are creating a pool of Transport & Logistics Experts for this project. Experts in this pool will be contacted for specific assignments as they arise. If you have relevant experience, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support reforms in transport and logistics systems
* Identify infrastructure and regulatory bottlenecks
* Advise on policies improving trade corridors and connectivity
* Contribute to investment-related transport strategies
Requirements:
Education
* Master's degree in transport, logistics, economics, or related field
General Professional Experience
* Minimum 9 years of experience providing economic policy advice to governments
Specific Professional Experience
* Minimum 7 years of experience in business and investment climate reforms
* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in transport and logistics
Development Cooperation Experience
* Minimum 5 years in development cooperation projects
Languages
* English (C1 mandatory)
* Knowledge of French or Spanish (C1)
