We are seeking a highly skilled developer to create innovative risk applications and tools for a leading hedge fund. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining systems that support traders, pre-trade checks, and analysis, as well as risks and limits management, reports of trading activities, and connectivity with market data providers.
About the Role
The team is focused on developing and maintaining various applications. We are looking for an experienced professional who can work effectively in an agile development environment using Python and SQL (MySQL) to design and develop data models, build reports, and perform metrics from complex platforms.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Strong understanding of data quality principles
* Proven experience in designing and developing data models using industry best practices
* Experience in using code management and CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Bamboo
* 5+ years of experience working with Python
* Good understanding and demonstrated experience working with SQL (MySQL) and Power Query (M query language)
* Extensive experience designing and developing reports and performance metrics from complex platforms
