About Downtown Engineers

Downtown Engineers (DWT ENG) is a New York-based MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) engineering firm trusted by architecture offices, developers and national brands.


Our work spans from franchise rollouts for brands like McDonald's, Domino's and Dunkin' to hospitality projects with Hilton and Hyatt, healthcare and residential buildings across the United States, with a strong focus on New York City.

We're a remote-first team of 20+ people across different countries, with 300+ projects delivered across 16+ sectors. Our culture is grounded in trust, transparency and autonomy and that's how we communicate too.



About the Opportunity

We're looking for a hands-on Brand & Content Analyst to help us build and sustain our authority in the market. This role sits at the intersection of brand, education and demand generation, creating content that builds trust with architects and developers before the first conversation ever happens.


The ideal candidate is content-obsessed with a strong brand lens, someone who takes one idea and immediately sees multiple formats, narratives and distribution paths. Beyond producing content, you'll ensure that everything Downtown puts out communicates the brand clearly and consistently.

You'll work closely with leadership, transforming technical knowledge into high-quality content, while reviewing and strengthening how the brand shows up across every touchpoint.



Compensation & Structure

* Full-time contractor (remote)
* Fixed monthly compensation
* Please include your compensation expectation in BRL (R$) in your application


What you’ll do


1.Content & channels

* Produce and distribute content across priority channels (LinkedIn, email, blog and future channels)
* Write copy, adapt templates, collaborate on visuals and test new formats
* Coordinate editorial calendar, approvals and publishing


2.Brand consistency & messaging

* Review and propose copy for the website, social media pages, presentations, events, campaigns and sales materials, ensuring brand clarity and tone across all touchpoints
* Research best practices and propose improvements to how Downtown communicates across channels
* Be the first line of quality control on how the brand shows up externally


3.Demand generation & sales enablement

* Create rich content (case studies, guides, studies, infographics) to educate architects and drive inbound demand
* Support sales with enablement materials and educational assets
* Help build Downtown's educational and thought leadership initiatives


4.Optimization & performance

* Ensure content is evergreen, performance-driven and SEO-friendly
* Track results, test improvements and iterate


Requirements


Must-haves

* Fluent English (written and spoken)
* Strong writing and content creation skills
* Hands-on execution mindset with high autonomy, curiosity and ownership
* Ability to think in formats, distribution and repurposing and not just write and post
* Comfortable working with multiple channels and priorities without losing consistency
* Experience with content marketing or B2B communication
* Strong sense of brand consistency: you notice when messaging, tone or visuals feel off, you act on it. And you also proactively propose improvements


Nice-to-haves

* Experience with SEO, content optimization or marketing automation tools
* Experience in technical, engineering or architecture-related industries
