Location: UK & IRELAND


Ideal Candidate Location: South Central/Southeast UK due to key account concentration, but all UK candidates considered with willingness to travel

The Opportunity

As Key Account Manager for the UK & Ireland, you’ll be at the forefront of driving growth with key distribution and retail partners. This strategic role offers high autonomy, blending proactive new business development (“hunting”) with nurturing existing accounts (“farming”). You’ll translate data-driven insights into actionable strategies, collaborating with senior management and internal teams to shape market success.


Key Responsibilities

* Build and expand relationships with key accounts across the UK & Ireland.
* Develop strategic account plans with clear objectives, risk assessments, and measurable outcomes.
* Proactively identify new business opportunities while strengthening existing partnerships.
* Leverage market analysis, customer needs, and competitor insights to drive growth.
* Use tools like Excel (pivot tables), PowerPoint, and Outlook to craft compelling presentations and strategies.
* Act as a trusted partner to clients, listening actively and delivering tailored solutions.
* Operate independently from home or their London showroom, with UK-wide travel and occasional international trips (3-4+ times/year).


Your Profile

* 3+ years in B2B sales or key account management with a focus on relationship-building within the distribution arena.
* You’re a proactive, commercially savvy professional with a track record of success.
* Sector experience is a bonus but not essential, what matters is your knowledge of the sales channels and your ability to deliver results and inspire trust.
* Strong analytical skills, comfortable with data-driven decision-making and tools like Excel and PowerPoint.
* A natural “hunter” and “farmer,” adept at winning new business and growing existing accounts.
* Customer-centric with excellent listening and problem-solving skills.
* Independent, entrepreneurial, and confident in high-level strategic decisions.
* Fluent in English (additional languages a plus).
