Warehouse Efficiency Specialist
Our organization seeks a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Specialist to design warehouse layouts, optimize material flow and work areas, and improve efficiency. The successful candidate will conduct time studies, develop cost-benefit and ROI models, and provide support for new warehouse start-ups.
* Design warehouse layouts for new facilities and redesign existing layouts for renovation projects.
* Analyze inbound, put-away, picking and outbound processes; optimize material flow and work areas to increase efficiency.
* Conduct detailed time studies and work sampling to establish standard operating times.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering or a related field. Five years of experience in warehouse IE or layout design is required. Familiarity with IE tools such as time studies, motion studies, capacity balancing is also necessary. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Visio for layout design or Excel/Power BI for data analysis is essential. Strong numerical analysis skills are also required along with excellent communication skills.
