Description Main responsibilities Operate laboratory equipment and its utilities used in fermentation strain screening and process development (bioreactors, culture medium sterilization systems, etc.). Wash, assemble, and sterilize fermenters and other equipment and accessories. Prepare culture media according to established protocols. Collect samples and perform microbiological and physicochemical analyses. Record results in electronic systems/LIMS and prepare technical reports. Manage materials for the process, including inventory control, purchasing, and maintenance. Identify and engage new suppliers for materials, reagents, and equipment. Follow and write SOPs, check lists and safety analysis. Plan, conduct, analyze, and report studies and experimental data. Deliver technical presentations to multidisciplinary teams, clearly communicating experimental outcomes and insights. Requirements (Experience/ Qualifications) Education: Bioprocess engineer, Biotechnology engineer, Chemical engineer and correlated areas. Master’s degree in fermentation area is a plus. Experience: Over 3 years of hands-on laboratory experience with aseptic fermentation processes. Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting fermentation bioreactor systems and its software’s. Strong personal commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols. Detail-oriented with a strong drive to deliver and document high-quality results. Self-motivated and proactive. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making. Ability to follow detailed procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
