Supply Chain Management Professional Job Description
The core responsibilities of this position include identifying demand for goods and services, conducting research on potential suppliers, acting as a liaison to communicate pricing and performance requirements to vendors and suppliers, participating in negotiations for favorable procurement agreements with selected vendors and suppliers, selecting reliable and cost-efficient suppliers based on product quality and reliability, maintaining and updating a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development opportunities, preparing analytical reports to review by managers.
Requirements for this role include at least 2 years of experience in supply management or related field, knowledge of SAP or SAP B1 software systems, a degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related fields, experience in managing inventory levels, proficiency in SQL analysis tools and mathematical analysis techniques, effective interpersonal skills and ability to build trust, and an advanced level of English language proficiency.
