Lead Data EngineerAbout this roleWe are seeking a seasoned Lead Data Engineer to spearhead the development of high-performance data integration and analytics solutions.The ideal candidate will possess in-depth expertise in Oracle performance tuning and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), combined with strong leadership and communication skills.In this role, you will lead technical decision-making, mentor team members, and collaborate with DBAs and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.Optimize database and query performance to meet strict service level agreements.Analyze execution plans and recommend indexing, partitioning, and optimization strategies.Partner with DBAs to validate and implement tuning recommendations.Oversee ETL/ELT workflows to ensure scalability, efficiency, and data quality.Leverage AWS services for ingestion, transformation, and storage.Lead and mentor the team to foster technical excellence and continuous improvement.Translate technical decisions into clear explanations for both technical and business stakeholders.Required Skills:7+ years of experience in data engineering within enterprise-scale environments.Expertise in Oracle performance tuning, including query optimization, execution plans, indexes, partitioning, and parallelism.Hands-on experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.Expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).Experience in data warehouse design, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling.Proven leadership experience, including team mentoring and technical guidance.Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with DBAs, technical teams, and business stakeholders.Benefits:Opportunity to work on diverse projects and interact with different technologies.Dynamic and challenging environment that promotes growth and learning.Autonomy, clear goals, and a collaborative team culture.Why Build Your Career Here?We offer a welcoming environment where professionals can grow and thrive.
