About this opportunity
Lead and elevate OHS performance across Field Service Operations in CU Latam South to ensure safe, compliant delivery by Ericsson teams and service partners. Reports to the Head of MACS NTW Regional Director CU Latam South.
What you’ll do
Govern the local OHS program aligned to Group OHS Policy/Directive, EGMS, and ISO 45001; drive continuous improvement.
Ensure site safety for high‑risk activities (working at heights, electrical, lifting, access); lead ORAs, field audits, and close findings.
Execute inspection cadence: general FSO personnel ≥2x/year; tower climbers ≥1x/quarter; track compliance and escalate non‑conformities.
Manage incidents end‑to‑end via global tools (e.g., GIRT): timely reporting, root‑cause analysis, trend monitoring, corrective actions, and severe‑case escalation.
Secure mandatory OHS training and role‑based competence (e.g., Lifesaving Rules, Safe Driving) for employees and suppliers.
Drive supplier/contractor OHS compliance, onboarding/qualification, controls, and consequence management with Sourcing and governance boards.
Set targets/KPIs, report performance/risks, brief customers on OHS responsibilities, and enable forums for participation.
Leverage AI/automation to streamline processes and decisions; foster collaboration across commercial, pre‑sales, Sourcing, Optimize, S&R, VM, and PMO.
Champion Ethics, Compliance, and Integrity; promote diversity and inclusive practices.
You will bring
Proven leadership in audits/inspections, incident investigation (RCA), risk assessment, and action plan closure.
ISO 45001 implementation experience; alignment with corporate OHS policies/directives.
Fluency in Portuguese and English; strong senior stakeholder communication and influence. Spanish a plus.
In‑depth knowledge of Global/MA EHS & Sourcing processes; financial acumen; data‑driven decision‑making.
Effective subcontractor (ASP/SP) management; plus: PM, Service Delivery, or Vendor Management experience.
Strategy development/execution; leadership in matrixed, multicultural, geographically dispersed environments.
Experience in Network Rollout (RAN & Transmission) and crisis management/business continuity.
Track record in culture transformation and efficiency via automation and simplified customer engagement.
Strong presentation, collaboration (incl. employee representatives), and prioritization skills; H&S legal/process expertise.
Experience in field operations OHS for telecom/network infrastructure (installation, maintenance, rollout), including working‑at‑height controls and contractor management.
Experience in leadership roles.
