This role includes managing documentation flow, monitoring import processes, and supporting materials planning. The Foreign Trade Analyst will also oversee coordination with brokers and ensure smooth operations by tracking purchase orders and related schedules from vendors.Transportation Methods & Costs:Define appropriate transportation methods based on operational needs and cost-effectiveness.Analyze and recommend transportation solutions that align with company objectives.Manage and track transportation costs, ensuring adherence to budgets.Document Flow Management:Oversee and control the flow of documents for each operation to ensure timely processing and accuracy.Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company standards in document handling.Analyze complex information and market data.Importation Process:Update the status of importation processes regularly to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues related to importation.Material Needs Analysis:Analyze material requirements and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure proper stock levels.Assist in forecasting material needs and scheduling orders with suppliers.Broker Process Management:Manage the broker process, including customs clearance and documentation, to ensure smooth import/export operations.Collaborate with customs brokers to guarantee compliance with regulations.Purchase Order & Follow-up:Monitor and track Purchase Orders (POs) from vendors, ensuring production schedules, timelines, and shipping activities are on track.Coordinate with vendors to resolve discrepancies related to POs and ensure timely delivery.Comex Activities & Follow-up:Oversee and track all international trade (Comex) activities, ensuring timely and accurate execution.Maintain up-to-date records and reports for international shipments and activities.Materials Planning:Support materials planning and coordinate inventory management.Assist with planning and executing material orders to meet production schedules and customer requirements.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Foreign Trade, or related field.Minimum 2 years’ experience in logistics, material planning, supply chain, or import/export operations.Knowledge of transportation methods, international trade regulations, and customs clearance processes.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Experience with ERP systems or logistics software.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Experience in material planning is preferred.Fluent in English.
