This position will be responsible for the full development lifecycle, from technical design to deployment, ensuring that applications are highly concurrent, thread-safe and optimized for Linux environments. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader and self-driven expert in multi-threaded programming, proficient in modern development tools such as MS SQL Server and AI-assisted coding. A high level of proficiency in English is required, as the role involves daily interaction with U.S.-based stakeholders.This position is 100% on-site at our offices in Bogotá, Medellín, or Buenos Aires.What You Will DoDesign, develop, and maintain high-throughput, multi-threaded Java applications for North American clients.Optimize application performance by identifying and resolving concurrency bottlenecks, race conditions, and deadlocks.Work effectively within a Linux environment to deploy and manage services.Collaborate with cross-functional teams using GIT for version control.Integrate AI-driven tools like Copilot to optimize coding efficiency and quality.Manage and optimize database interactions using MS SQL Server.What You Bring5+ years of professional experience in Java development, with a strong emphasis on multi-threading and concurrent programming.BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field.Deep understanding of the Java Memory Model, Executor services, and synchronization primitives.Strong proficiency in Linux environments.Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, GIT, and modern AI coding assistants (Copilot).Excellent English communication skills (ability to coordinate with U.S. stakeholders).Proactive attitude: Responsible, agile, and quick to adjust to new technical challenges.Nice If You HaveExperience in SaaS or IT Consulting.Familiarity with Microservices architecture.Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Equal Opportunity EmployerAspenView is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
