Quality Platform Engineer (Remote – Brazil, CLT)QAT Global, a US-based IT consulting firm with 30+ years of experience, is looking for a Quality Platform Engineer to support a US-based customer.You will collaborate with development teams across the US, Costa Rica, and Brazil, building and operating the infrastructure that powers automated testing.About the RoleWe are looking for a Quality Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate the platform that executes automated testing at scale.While Quality Engineers focus on writing tests, this role ensures those tests run reliably, efficiently, and consistently across environments.You will work closely with QA, Engineering, and DevOps teams, owning the infrastructure and systems that power automated test execution.Responsibilities:Design and maintain containerized environments used for automated testingBuild and operate scalable test execution platforms supporting parallel and isolated test runsEnsure consistent behavior across local, CI, and pre-release environmentsDesign and maintain GitHub Actions workflows for automated testing in the SDLCIntegrate testing into the release and deployment processImprove reliability, performance, and observability of automated test pipelinesBuild systems for test result aggregation, artifacts, and failure analysisIdentify and reduce test flakiness and pipeline instabilityEnable Quality Engineers through clear execution interfaces and documentationRequired Experience:Strong experience with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions preferred)Hands-on experience with Docker or container-based execution environmentsSolid understanding of modern software architectures and automated testing strategiesStrong scripting/programming skills (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Bash, or similar)Experience with parallel test execution, sharding, or ephemeral environmentsExperience supporting test execution platforms or build systemsComfortable working across QA, DevOps, and Engineering teamsStrong English communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:BS/MS in Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Computer Engineering, or related field
