Accounting Professional - Investments and Loss Reserve
This role plays a key part in accounting and reporting functions including investments, claims and reserves, monthly close activities and finance projects. The Accounting Professional will work closely with stakeholders to achieve objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare financial reports and account analyses for investments and loss reserves, and follow-up on issues and variances.
* Review and reconcile internal and external reports for investments and loss reserves.
* Present summary of investment activity to stakeholders.
* Perform regular communication with related areas.
* Maintain accurate records to ensure proper data checks.
* Support external reporting.
* Work with auditors to respond to requests.
* Identify process improvements and implement changes.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as accounting, finance or economics, or equivalent experience.
* Three years' accounting experience is preferred, but not necessary.
* Experience with enterprise systems.
* High attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills.
* Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills.
* Strong integrity, judgment and decision-making ability.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Organized with ability to manage financial processes and implement control procedures.
* Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and collaborate with teams.
