Job Description
The Oracle Business Analyst provides functional & technical support in the design, documentation, development, testing, implementation, maintenance & support of Oracle E-Business Suite applications in Latin America, including interfacing applications.
This position serves as the first contact for the LA Regional Team, providing analysis, implementation, and support to local key users and end users of Oracle E-Business Suite. The role involves coordination with Oracle leaders, third-party implementation partners, and the process team to understand business requirements and align them with standard designs.
Responsibilities
1. Support development, testing, and production environments.
2. Act as the first level of support for critical issues, especially during month-end close.
3. Follow up on support tickets until resolution and user satisfaction.
4. Gather and report user requirements for enhancements, coordinating with the Oracle Program Coordinator.
5. Participate in enhancement and testing processes, including global testing to ensure no adverse effects on the Latin America operations.
6. Lead small local projects, working with suppliers and coordinating with the regional team.
7. Translate functional specifications and business requirements into technical documentation.
8. Develop and maintain documentation for standards, training, and procedures.
Qualifications
* At least 5 years of experience as an Oracle consultant in projects or support.
* Experience across various business functions (Finance, Operations, Order Management).
* Experience with system application implementations.
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Information Systems, or related fields.
* Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
