Description Responsible for developing lighting system components (e.g., headlamps, tail lamps, and courtesy lights) for TRATON brands, ensuring compliance with technical, quality, cost, and timeline requirements, while delivering value to internal and external customers. Responsibilities Develop lighting system components according to the technical scope of the program(s), including LAH development, parts list support, and adherence to project timelines; Develop and certify lighting system components, including: Homologation of cab components and systems according to national and international standards Monitoring and control of bench and durability tests Support in defining validation methods for certification Development of technical standards Coordinate and analyze development activities, ensuring performance, quality, timeline, and cost targets; Support pre-development activities, leveraging lessons learned and field issues, including layout definition; Conduct benchmarking analysis on competitor vehicles; Support internal, external, and homologation testing; analyze results and update designs accordingly; Monitor prototype builds, ensuring quality, performance, and adherence to planned test activities; Prepare technical documentation for component release; Analyze and solve problems using structured methodologies; Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (R&D, Purchasing, Production, etc.); Participate in VCT meetings, tracking activities and deliverables; Follow up with suppliers on development, including concept definition, tooling, and testing; Plan activities aligned with project milestones; Apply innovation and new technologies to ongoing projects. Prerequisites Required: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related fields; English: Advanced. Desirable: Postgraduate or MBA in AI, Automotive, Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronics Engineering; Project Management / Business Management; Courses in Data Science, Analytics, Big Data; Scrum and Design Thinking; Artificial Intelligence; Hybrid/Electric Vehicles and Vehicle Dynamics.
