In this role, you will serve as a technical authority and strategic partner, driving the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our Environmental, Health & Safety programs. You will play a key role in ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements while fostering a strong safety culture across all levels of the organization.This position offers the opportunity to work on complex EHS challenges, support critical business operations, and influence long-term safety and environmental strategies within a dynamic and collaborative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development, implementation, and maintenance of EHS policies, programs, and procedures, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and local, state, and federal regulations.Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and job safety analyses (JSA), identifying potential hazards and developing effective mitigation plans.Manage and execute EHS audits, inspections, and internal assessments; ensure timely corrective actions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Lead root cause investigations for accidents, incidents, and near-misses; develop corrective and preventive action plans to eliminate recurrence.Deliver EHS training programs across multiple levels of the organization, driving awareness, engagement, and accountability.Act as subject matter expert (SME) providing technical guidance on safety, environmental compliance, ergonomics, and industrial hygiene across engineering, manufacturing, and operational projects.Maintain accurate documentation of all EHS activities, ensuring full regulatory compliance and audit readiness.Monitor EHS KPIs, analyze trends, and report performance metrics to senior management, identifying areas of opportunity for further improvement.Stay current on applicable EHS regulations, standards, and industry best practices, proactively advising leadership on emerging risks or legislative changes.Foster a strong safety-first culture throughout the organization, promoting proactive behaviors and ownership of EHS responsibilities.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.Postgraduate degree or certification in Occupational Safety Engineering or Environmental Management strongly preferred.Active registration and certification with relevant professional bodies (e.g., CREA, OSHA, ISO certifications).Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in EHS roles, preferably within manufacturing, industrial operations, renewable energy, or construction environments.In-depth knowledge of Brazilian and international EHS regulations, standards, and reporting requirements.Proven experience leading risk assessments, audits, accident investigations, and safety culture initiatives.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage with all levels of the organization.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS management systems.Advanced English required.Preferred QualificationsExperience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.Previous experience in the renewable energy or solar industry.Knowledge of emerging technologies and best practices in EHS automation and digital reporting.Seniority levelSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionJob functionProject ManagementIndustriesRenewable Energy Equipment ManufacturingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Array (BR) by 2xHSE Manager - HUB Latin America (Talent Pool)Regional Manager, Security, Resilience & EHS - LATAMWe’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
