We're currently seeking full-stack developers to join our engineering team, with a strong emphasis on deep WordPress and modern JavaScript experience.About the RoleWe’re looking for a highly skilled Senior WordPress Developer to join our global engineering team. This position focuses on backend development — building and optimizing custom WordPress plugins, APIs, and integrations for large-scale, high-performance websites.The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of WordPress internals, experience working with enterprise clients, and a strong understanding of scalable, maintainable code.ResponsibilitiesContribute to migration projects from enterprise CMS platforms to WordPress, especially newsroom/editorial systems.Design and implement content migration pipelines, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).Work with editorial teams to map content models, taxonomies, and workflows into WordPress.Develop custom plugins and scripts to support large-scale content migrations.Integrate WordPress with APIs from legacy or external CMS platforms.Ensure data integrity, SEO preservation, and minimal downtime during migrations.Optimize WordPress architecture for scalability in content-heavy environments.Minimum Qualifications5+ years of WordPress development experience with strong backend focus.Experience with Stibo DX CUE (CUE Platform).Proven experience in CMS migration projects (any enterprise CMS → WordPress).Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and REST APIs.Experience handling large-scale content datasets.Understanding of content modeling, taxonomies, and editorial workflows.Advanced written and spoken English (international client communication required).Nice to HaveExperience with other enterprise CMS platforms Familiarity with media/publishing environments.Experience with headless CMS architectures.Knowledge of SEO considerations during migrations (URL structures, redirects, metadata preservation).Benefits- Yearly Office Allowance Budget- Macbook Purchase Support- Wellbeing SupportIf you think that you are a good fit for the position, please apply through LinkedIn.Only CVs that are in English will be accepted.Flatiron Software Co has a zero tolerance to discrimination policy.
