Job Title: IT Talent Acquisition Specialist
The role of a Senior IT Recruiter involves working closely with clients and internal teams to identify, engage, and present high-quality technology candidates for various positions.
Responsibilities include:
* Conducting thorough searches to find suitable candidates, evaluating their skills and competencies, and presenting them to clients in a timely manner.
* Participating in full-cycle recruitment and staffing assignments for contract and permanent placements in the Technology, Finance, and Corporate sectors.
* Creating job descriptions and posting them on relevant job boards and databases.
* Networking, researching, and sourcing candidates through various channels, including professional networking sites.
* Selecting and presenting qualified candidates to clients, coordinating interviews, and notifying candidates about the status of their applications.
* Liaising with other recruiters to share knowledge, experience, and advice on staffing policies and procedures.
To succeed in this position, you should have:
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in recruitment, with at least 3 years focused on IT recruitment.
* Demonstrated expertise in direct headhunting for permanent and contract technology candidates, as well as in-depth technical evaluation skills.
* Excellent networking and relationship-building skills, strong communication skills (verbal and written), and a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Familiarity with MS Word, CRM, and ATS systems, as well as experience working with U.S. or Canadian markets.
